Christmas Day marked 1 year in the building God delivered to us out of thin air!

2013 has finally arrived!  God has opened so many doors for us this season.
December brought with it a reminder of just how big/great God is.  He gave us a chance to enter the Parade of Lights in Pageland once again.  We were stoked to be able to work on a float and be able to spread the word about our fellowship to the community.  We are grateful for those that were willing to give up an entire Saturday to help us work on the float then ride in the parade!

We are definitely blessed more than we deserve by God.  The building He provided for us is something we will never forget.

2013 started off another exciting year for us here at New Life.  We were able to take a group of 28 to Winter Jam!  God is growing us immensely (we took 5 last year).

February 9th the youth hosted the That's Amore Banquet - a family Valentine's dinner.  An Italian cafe was the theme and the food was prepared and served by the students themselves.  We had a wonderful turn out (48 guests in attendance).  This banquet was the first fundraiser the youth held this year in hopes of raising enough money to return to Centrifuge this July.  Continue to pray for them as they prepare for this opportunity.

God has big things in store for the spring months and we are stoked to be able to be apart of His plans!

Fall is finally here!  Meaning big things for the NLBF family.

We have started back with our Soup Kitchen every Wednesday night at 6.  The turn out has been great so far, God has been good.  We still need continued prayer and support as we try to reach the community through this avenue.

Along with the Soup Kitchen, our Wednesday night ministries have grown as well.  We offer TeamKid to the elementary aged children.  This class teaches them about the Bible through studies as well as fun activities and games to get them moving.  We started with just a handful of children to having as many as 12 at a time!  God has been good and is blessing our outreaches.  Please pray about how God would have you serve in our Wednesday night services.

Our classes and dinners are not all that we are looking forward to this fall.  As October approaches we are preparing for the town-wide trick-or-treat night.  We will have a booth set up downtown for a great chances to pour into the lives of those in our community.  Come out and support us as we shed God's light around Pageland!

Some many things have happened to us and our little family of believers over the summer months.  God has grown our body by adding several new members and many more attending regularly.

May held many opportunities for families to come out and have fun together as well as fellowship with others in the community.  We began a community meal over the summer offering food to the community members.  God has been blessing this ministry and has used it as an outlet for us to spread the Gospel throughout Pageland.

In addition to the meal, we now are offering TeamKid to the children in the area.  A ministry began by LifeWay, every Wednesday night after the meal we play games and teach the Scriptures to the children while the adults attend a prayer meeting service.

June and July were quite packed full of exciting things for all ages.  The Child Evangelism Fellowship came and helped us host a VBS for children in the area.  We were incredibly thankful to God for providing us workers.  Several of our members went on a mission trip with the Chesterfield Baptist Association and our students also had the opportunity to attend camp!  God blessed us with amazing opportunites to glorify Him.  Our children were able to go to Centrikid and our youth to Centrifuge (camps put on by LifeWay).

We cannot wait to see what God has in store for us in the Fall!!

April was quite a busy month for us.  We had a variety of activities offered as well as work days.
The month started of with a wonderful Easter season.  On April 7th, several of our members put on an Easter Egg hunt for the children in our community.  The children hunted eggs as well as receiving prizes and having some delicious cupcakes!

April 8th was Easter Sunday morning, and what a gorgeous day it turned out to be. We held a sunrise service that morning after which we had breakfast together in the fellowship hall.  Following the meal everyone was invited to participate in a Seder Supper where we discussed the deeper meaning of the Passover meal.  The event was informative as well as great fellowship time!

The end of the Easter season brought us many opportunities to continue cleaning up the grounds and repairing/painting the inside of our building.  Everyone has done such a great job and put a lot work into making our new building home.

Thanks to everyone for all their hard work and time spent in service of God and the community!  Many more opportunities are just around the corner for you to get involved.  It is never too late to join in the fun and ministry here at New Life Baptist Fellowship.

March 31st we hosted our first neighborhood block party.  We had bounce houses, snow cones, and popcorn!

The volunteer turn out was amazing and thanks to everyone who participated in the event.  We were able to get the word out in the community that we are here and ready to serve them.

The children seemed to have a blast bouncing around and playing with each other. They certainly ate a lot of snow cones =].  We enjoyed the fellowship and watching the children play together.

The neighborhood turnout was not quite what we expected, but God is good and blesses His people for serving Him.  We know that we made an impact in the community simply by being available and inviting them to events as well as services. God's work is still our may goal and we will not allow numbers to deter us from continuing to serve Him.

Thanks again to all who come out to support/volunteer.  We could not have done it without you!!

Thanks to everyone for coming out and participating in our Family Fun Night in February!  The event was a great success.  The food was phenomenal, and the games/fellowship were fantastic

February 17th we hosted our first Family Fun Night.  The evening consisted of a chili and soup supper (with several amazing desserts) followed by games for all ages.  The evening began with a meal, generously provided by the attendees, transitioning into fellowship time with table games.

Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.  The night was hilarious and wonderful watching our families bond together as believers as well as laugh until their sides hurt.

We hope to see you there next time!

We hope you enjoy the stories and news of New Life Baptist Fellowship.  We are excited about what God has been doing through our ministry.  Below is a brief history of our humble beginnings:

We began as a small gathering of families at a bed and breakfast in Lancaster, SC. The families met together on Sundays simply to pray and fellowship together over a meal.  The gatherings soon grew into something more and New Life Baptist Fellowship was formed.

Growing too large for the bed and breakfast, New Life moved to our next location off Hwy 601 in Pageland, SC.  God blessed our church quite abundantly and we soon grew too large for this building.

Praise God church is not about a building considering we had to move once again. This move brought us to our current location on N. Oak Street in Pageland, SC.

God's providence and timing were perfect.  He allowed a church to donate their facility to us!  God is good.  We held our first services there December 12, 2011, and it was wonderful!  With the way the Lord is continuously blessing us, we may soon outgrow our current facility as well!
